Responsibilities:
Sales Performance & Target Management:
- Prepare and review profit and loss statements ensuring accurate recording of all revenue and expenses.
- Monitor and analyze daily weekly and monthly sales performance for the bookstore operations.
- Recommend strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Prepare daily sales analysis reports and present findings to management
Operations Management:
- Act as an operations expert ensuring seamless daily functions for both the bookstore and
customer experience.
- Monitor inventory levels coordinate with merchandising for timely restocking and oversee stock control processes and count stock frequently (Book and MI).
- Assist in implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to uphold service quality
- Assist in analyze performance metrics to identify operational gaps and recommend improvements.
- Participate in PDCA (Plan Do Check Act) cycles to drive continuous operational enhancements.
- Assist in managing relationships with external partners and vendors as required.
- conduct interviews alongside HR and management teams and participate in meetings with key stakeholders.
- Delegate and oversee tasks related to store opening/closing shift schedules and monthly rosters.
- Work alongside Visualize Merchandising specialist and Store Manager to ensure smooth operation and task delegation to the team.
Customer Service
- Ensure a superior customer experience across all touchpoints in the store.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Foster a welcoming professional atmosphere and ensure service excellence is consistently
maintained.
Marketing & Promotion
- Propose and support sales-driven strategies to increase store traffic and revenue.
- Assist in planning and executing in-store events promotions and community collaborations.
- Contribute ideas for loyalty programs seasonal campaigns and strategic partnerships.
- Identify and liaise with potential events and promotional partners.
Team Leadership & Development
- Coach mentor and motivate team members to maintain a collaborative high-performance work environment.
- Support training initiatives in customer service product knowledge and POS system operations.
- Assist in employee performance reviews and help set development goals.
- Recommend training or advancement opportunities based on performance assessments.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Sales & Marketing Hospitality Business Administration or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in retail operations and merchandising.
- Fluent in English competency in either Japanese or other language valuable but not required.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in interpreting sales and operational data.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Other tasks as assigned by Store Manager.

Working hour: - Up to 48 hours per week; primary workdays are Monday to Sunday with Roster Schedule and four days off a month and work outside of office hours required on occasions.
