Electric Motor Mechanic In-shop/Field Service Technician
Full time $25 to $30 per hour
Must be a PR or a Citizen of Canada
Job Requirements: An authorized repair and warranty center in Canada servicing all of Canada. We specialize in electric motors and generators of all sizes to 13800V. We work with a wide variety of Industrial Applications with multi-industry exposure for sales and service of industrial machinery. We are looking for a Service Tech who is application-oriented and has experience in electric motors & generators repairs installation and setup.
Position Overview:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Diagnose causes of mechanical and electrical problems with electric motors pumps gearboxes and generators either in-house or at customers site perform test procedures and necessary repairs
- Ability to develop testing procedures and test motors & generators
- Complete service reports with problems found work completed and parts used/required
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks as assigned
- Work with a Team of Technicians Suppliers and Office Personnel to identify products and select suitable solutions for the tasks at hand
- Oversee all aspects of repairs from start to final load testing
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills with both written and verbal an asset
- Essential to be well organized and handles their time in a professional manner
- Compensation:Commensurate with experience.
