Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to the maintenance and repair of our state-of-the-art corporate campus. We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of facilities or commercial construction experience that is eager to learn and likes to get the job done right! Your knowledge and skills will be tested and developed working on carpentry mechanical plumbing and HVAC assistance across over 2 Million square feet of commercial office space. The shift for this opening is Monday-Friday 11am-8pm.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Carpentry: Perform general carpentry work including door repairs drywall installation cabinetry and furniture adjustments.
  • Painting: Patch and paint walls doors and other surfaces to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Plumbing: Unclog drains repair leaks repair faucets valves and basic piping fixtures.
  • Assist and coordinate with Lead Engineer when necessary such as filter and belt replacement on HVAC Units.
  • Conduct routine building inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs inventory and service reports.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
  • Ensure all work complies with local state and federal regulations and safety standards.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Working knowledge of carpentry painting and plumbing preferred
  • Knowledgeable use of tools of the trade required
  • Must demonstrate good moral fitness and ethical standards
  • Make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures
  • Must be experienced with ladders and manlifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor as needed.
  • Must be detailed oriented and have satisfactory literacy and writing documentation communications and interpersonal abilities
  • Be able to work alone responsibly and without supervision and able to be on call once on a rotational basis.

Meet minimum requirements set by insurer to drive a company vehicle:

1. No moving traffic violations in the past 3 years. No at fault accidents in the past 3 years

3. Have not had drivers license denied suspended or revoked in the last 3 years

4. No driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUI) convictions in the past 3 years
