Join Our Team as an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Associate Manager at PepsiCo Beverages North America Make an Impact at Our Twinsburg OH Manufacturing Facility!

At PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA) we believe in fostering a workplace where safety inclusivity and continuous improvement are at the core of everything we do. We seek a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Associate Manager who is passionate about fostering a safety culture ensuring regulatory compliance (OSHA EPA DOT) and promoting accident prevention and effective injury management at our manufacturing and warehousing location.

Responsibilities
As an EHS Associate Manager youll lead initiatives that integrate safety and environmental programs into our day-to-day operations. Your expertise will guide us in achieving sustained improvements in safety performance compliance and environmental stewardship. Youll be instrumental in supporting the locations manufacturing teams identifying solutions for workplace safety and leading a proactive approach to EHS this role you will:

Implement execute ensure compliance with the Pepsi - North American Beverages EHS policies and procedures and all federal state and local OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations (i.e. Lockout Haz Com Machine Safety SARA RCRA etc.)
Manage local EHS budget
Lead the development and implementation of the EHS Annual Operating Plans and EHS Action Plans for the location
Achieve annual targets rates for Lost Time Recordable Severity and Environmental
Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state occupational safety and environmental regulations
Develop implement execute and manage strategies to prevent workplace injuries environmental incidents
Demonstrate solid employee relations experience interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
Demonstrate professional maturity and ability to act as a change leader by influencing all levels of the organization to drive continuous improvement in safety performance
Conduct EHS activities such as training/auditing/assessing to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory agency requirements Zero Zone Management System standards Emergency Response and internal PepsiCo EHS procedures
Perform risk assessments and assist in the implementation of effective physical and/or behavioral control measures. Recognize and verify the effectiveness of in-place control measures
Identify unsafe equipment operation and conditions while demonstrating knowledge of appropriate corrective action for unsafe conditions or equipment use
Exercise a leadership coordination and communication role with the location leadership to drive continuous EHS improvement across the location
Complete root cause analyses and develop corrective action plans to address root basic causes and management system weak-spots through the use of industry-recognized cause analysis techniques
Compensation and Benefits:

The expected compensation range for this position is between $89000 - $149000.
Location confirmed job-related skills experience and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
Paid time off subject to eligibility including paid parental leave vacation sick and bereavement.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree with 5 years of EHS work experience or High school diploma with greater than 15 years of EHS work experience.
EHS management experience in a related industry including consumer packaged goods distribution/transportation manufacturing or grocery industry.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree with 7-9 years of EHS work experience.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience with EHS Management systems and their deployment.
EHS auditing work experience.
Solid working knowledge of EHS regulatory compliance.
3 to 5 years of increasingly responsible work experience in the safety or environmental field.
Strong project management skills including financial responsibility budgeting scheduling vendor management execution and start-up/commissioning managing multiple concurrent projects/programs.
Skills & Competencies:

Effective communication and interpersonal skills including public speaking skills and presence in meetings and training environments.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills use PC and related software (Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) handle multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
Ability to make and deliver training presentations work collaboratively with colleagues to create a results-driven.
Team-oriented environment maintains confidentiality and makes independent decisions.
Functional EHS knowledge in regulatory requirements EHS technical aspects (safety industrial hygiene environmental regulatory management risk management behavior-based safety training regulatory agency enforcement.
Displays strong problem-solving organizational and analytical skills.
Demonstrates professional maturity and ability to act as a change leader.
Understands and can articulate environmental regulations.
