Job Description

Summary:

Seeking an experienced IS Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master with a focus on Marketing and Data Analytics initiatives. The Sr. PM/Scrum Master will plan direct and coordinate large cross-departmental infrastructure or development projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget. This role requires strong hands-on agile project management experience and the ability to lead complex enterprise efforts with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Communication & Presentation

• Serve as the central point of communication for all project activities.
• Keep stakeholders and leadership informed on progress milestones and potential risks.
• Negotiate schedule and resource adjustments as needed.
• Develop and deliver presentations to ensure understanding and alignment across teams and executive sponsors.

Release Management

• Coordinate with multiple teams to plan and execute EDP releases per department standards.
• Prepare accurate release notes and validation steps.
• Ensure effective communication across Product Owners and internal teams during release cycles.

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures.
• Build and maintain schedules using tools like WorkOtter Jira or SharePoint.
• Manage resource allocation and task estimates in collaboration with resource managers.
• Balance priorities and negotiate trade-offs to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in project management and Scrum Master roles leading complex IT initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage large distributed teams across multiple workstreams.
• Strong applied knowledge of Agile/PM tools and practices — including planning budgeting cost control risk management and Jira board administration.
• Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations.
• Excellent communication presentation and facilitation skills at all organizational levels (including Executive).
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills fostering trust and collaboration within teams.

Preferred / Desired Skills

• Experience with Cloud Data Platforms supporting Marketing Customer Analytics and Personalization in an omni-channel retail environment.
• Proficiency with WorkOtter Jira SharePoint Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of business process transformation and change management methodologies.
