Duties & Responsibilities
Our client in the Automotive industry is looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their team in New-Castle KwaZulu Natal.
Requirements:
Trade Test Certificate (QCTO/Red Seal or equivalent) in Diesel Mechanics.
Minimum 3 years of post-qualifying experience as a Diesel Mechanic with specific expertise in UD Trucks.
Proven skills in diagnostics repair and maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles particularly UD Trucks.
Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems hydraulics pneumatics and electrical components.
Valid drivers license; Code EC or Code 14 license with PDP (Professional Driving Permit) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnose repair and maintain UD Trucks including engines transmissions brakes and suspension systems.
Perform routine maintenance inspections and advanced troubleshooting to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Conduct repairs on hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems specific to UD Trucks.
Utilize diagnostic tools and UD-specific software to identify and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate service records and job cards in compliance with QCTO and industry standards.
Ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols and regulations.
