Lead Teacher- Pre-Kindergarten/Preschool
Full-Time
Timberlake Christian Preschool provides care for 2- to 5-year-olds in a loving and supportive environment licensed by the Department of Early Learning. Our preschool offers families a safe environment where their children can grow academically socially emotionally and spiritually through hands-on play-based teaching.
Lead Teachers at Timberlake are responsible for planning and implementing engaging weekly lesson plans working closely with other teachers and the Resource Coordinator to ensure a nurturing and effective classroom environment. This role oversees each childs academic social emotional and spiritual development while maintaining open communication with families.
Areas of Oversight & Core Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons that are aligned with developmental standards.
- Maintain a safe supportive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Facilitate ongoing communication with families including daily tadpoles report and yearly parent-teacher conferences.
- Create monthly newsletters and bulletin boards that highlight classroom activities.
- Other duties as assigned.

- 8:00 am-3:30 pm with 1 hour of paid planning from home
