Job Description

Job Summary:

The Data Analyst will be a crucial member of the negotiations team within the Professional Services Procurement Office. This role involves analyzing complex data systems creating programs for data analysis ensuring data quality researching new data sources and contributing to product development. The analyst will provide consulting services and customer service for negotiations with both internal and external stakeholders.
Location: Richmond Virginia United States.
Responsibilities:

- Assess complex data systems and programs to support management and customer requests.
- Create programs methodologies and files for analyzing and presenting data.
- Examine data quality applications and functions.
- Produce output and sustain operation.
- Research new data sources and analytical tools.
- Contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation.
- Support database applications and analytical tools.
- Ensure timely and appropriate user/customer participation in data collection and query systems.
- Compile and organize statistical data into reports.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- 5 years of experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with diverse audiences and management levels.
- Ability to build constructive and effective relationships.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Detail-oriented organized and a self-starter.
- Ability to plan and facilitate training presentations and meetings.
- Ability to apply programs policies and activities to daily tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- In-depth data analysis skills.
- Ability to examine data and make independent decisions based on analysis.
- Ability to analyze research and interpret data.
- Ability to design analyze and implement policies procedures and programs.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience in a procurement environment.
- Experience with workforce salary data.
