Job Summary:
This role involves performing a high volume of MRI exams (30-40 daily) in a Level II Trauma Center setting encompassing various exam types and patient acuity levels. The MRI Technologist will work a 4x10 day shift schedule with weekend work required. Experience in adult acute care adult ICU and ER/Trauma settings is essential along with proficiency in Epic.

Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of MRI exams on adult patients with varying acuity levels (ambulatory to total assist).
- Maintaining a high daily caseload (30-40 exams).
- Working collaboratively with nurses and other staff to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Utilizing Epic for charting and documentation.
- Adhering to established protocols and safety procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- ARRT-CT certification.
- ARRT-MR certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active Washington State license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting.
- Experience in adult acute care adult ICU and ER/Trauma settings.
- Proficiency in Epic.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with neonatal infant pediatric and adolescent patients.
Special Considerations:
- Weekend work is required.
- No on-call responsibilities for agency staff although optional.
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed case-by-case consideration possible.
- One 10-hour shift may be cancelled per two-week period.
- 50-mile radius restriction for applicants.
- Day shift involves more specialized studies (Cardiac MRI Breast MRI) while night shift focuses on general scans.
Scheduling:
- 4x10-hour day shifts.
- Weekends required.
- No guaranteed block schedule; case-by-case consideration during contract.
