Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Ensure accurate imaging and maintain high-quality diagnostic results.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient care.
- Adhere to all regulatory safety and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS or ALS) required.
- Current Texas Medical Board license (MRT) required.
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) required.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
