CT Technologist (Traveler)
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: Computerized Tomography (CT)
Schedule: Wednesday Sunday 12:00 22:30 40 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced Traveler CT Technologist to join our team and provide high-quality imaging services in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
Position Summary
The CT Technologist (Traveler) is responsible for performing diagnostic CT imaging ensuring patient safety and comfort and maintaining compliance with departmental protocols. This role requires technical expertise strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to a wide range of patient needs.
Key Responsibilities

Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients internal organs and tissues.

Accurately position patients according to prescribed scan areas and protocols.

Perform daily warm-up sequences and routine equipment checks to maintain optimal function.

Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.

Interpret and follow physicians scanning instructions precisely.

Administer radiocontrast agents when required ensuring safe patient monitoring.

Evaluate CT images for diagnostic quality and accuracy.

Provide clear explanations of procedures offering reassurance and support to patients.
Qualifications

ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent required.

Minimum of 3 years of CT experience.

Traveler technologist experience strongly preferred.

Proficiency in CT imaging protocols and radiation safety standards.

Strong communication organizational and patient care skills.
