This full-time role is the perfect opportunity for a Garment Technologist experienced in activewear to make their mark within a fast-paced scaling this role you will own the TALA fit and garment quality. Working across all product categories ensuring products are sealed on-time according to the critical path and quality standards are achieved by all suppliers. KPIs will include low returns and high customer satisfaction.
Tasks
- Drive fit sessions for multi-product and work collaboratively with the Design and product team.
- Give accurate and timely fit comments to suppliers within critical path deadlines.
- Risk assess product through wearer trials ensuring construction design and fabrics are fit for purpose.
- Work with the Design team to bring to life garments through spec / workbook creation with initial spec measurements.
- Create 3XL spec for fitting alongside size small.
- Create graded production specs for core and extended size ranges.
- Bench marking product against competitors to stay ahead of the competition.
- Approve test reports keeping up to date with legal legislation.
- Analyse and resolve any quality issues and customer returns.
- Complete supplier reviews by having extensive knowledge of supply base and factory capabilities.
- Grade factory audits and review certifications.
- Review sustainability certifications for all sustainable attributes.
- Build strong relationships across the teams and supply base.

Requirements
- Significant experience in a Garment Technologist role (at least 6 years) with extensive knowledge of multi-product fitting and inclusive sizing
- Expert knowledge of garment construction pattern cutting fitting and grading
- Understanding of testing analysing test reports and garment care
- Be confident and assertive when communicating technical knowledge
- Well organised and capable of working to tight deadlines
- Passionate about the role and drive high standards of quality and fit
- Great communication skills both with internal and external teams
- Reliable flexible and enjoy working in a start-up environment
