Business Support Analyst
With a limited degree of supervision incumbents are responsible for providing clerical analytical and operational support to the business functions within the organization such as filing and data entry.
Additionally she / he may also assist with the generation of reports and provide insights to support decision making and business strategys. Incumbents in this role act as a clerical support resource that can be utilized across any of the administrative functional areas at any time.
Additionally she / he may act as an informal resource for associates with less experience. Typically they also perform nonsecretarial administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent is responsible for analyzing existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
Additionally the incumbent is responsible for data analysis and reporting which includes identifying trends patterns and opportunities for process optimization based on data trends.
The incumbent is also responsible for documentation and communication which entails developing and maintaining process documentation standard operating procedures and user manuals.
Additionally the incumbent is responsible for issue resolution and support which includes provide support and assistance to stakeholders and end users in resolving operational challenges.
Lastly the incumbent is responsible for engaging in continuous improvement which includes monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented improvements and suggesting adjustments as needed.
We are seeking a temporary contractor to provide support for general Lock Desk operational functions. This role will work closely with Loan Officers and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely updates to customer loan data. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with loan updates and lock changes in accordance with pricing and eligibility guidelines.
Supporting the testing and validation of departmental changes to pricing and eligibility rules.
Contributing to reporting and tracking efforts to maintain operational transparency and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of mortgage operations and the overall mortgage lifecycle. Strong attention to detail reliability and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Skills & Experience Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and Word.
Prior experience in the mortgage industry is preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Sharp analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience with Empower Encompass or PollyEx is a plus.
