Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Scrum Master to join our team. The Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring that the Scrum process is implemented effectively within our teams removing obstacles facilitating meetings and ensuring continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Standups Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives ensuring that they are productive and focused. Remove Impediments: Actively identify and remove any obstacles or roadblocks that may be hindering the teams progress ensuring smooth workflow. Coach the Team: Provide guidance and coaching to team members helping them to understand and apply Agile methodologies Scrum principles and best practices. Support Product Owner: Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is well-defined prioritized and ready for the team to execute in upcoming sprints. Ensure Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration communication and transparency within the Scrum team and across other teams ensuring that the team works effectively together. Track and Report Metrics: Monitor and report on the teams progress including sprint velocity burn-down charts and other relevant performance metrics. Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead the team in identifying areas for improvement both in terms of processes and team dynamics and work with the team to implement solutions. Ensure Adherence to Agile Practices: Maintain a strong understanding of Agile principles ensuring that the team adheres to Agile practices and continuously strives for higher levels of maturity. Provide Support and Guidance: Offer mentorship and support to both new and existing team members to ensure the team is operating at its highest potential. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business or a related field (or equivalent experience). Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Scrum certification. Minimum of X years of experience working as a Scrum Master with a proven track record of successful Agile project delivery. Strong knowledge of Scrum frameworks Agile methodologies and other related Agile approaches. Excellent facilitation coaching and conflict resolution skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Ability to motivate and empower teams to take ownership of their work and improve continuously. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Jira Trello or similar platforms). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience in a technical or software development environment. Knowledge of additional Agile frameworks (e.g. JIRA Kanban SAFe). Experience with distributed teams or remote work environments. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Additional Information: This position will require flexible working hours depending on the teams needs. The Scrum Master will work closely with other roles such as Product Owners Developers Testers and other stakeholders to ensure the success of Agile initiatives.
