Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer with a strong background in data visualization dashboard development and business intelligence. The ideal candidate should have 8 years of experience in Power BI and working knowledge or hands-on experience with Snowflake. You will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining BI solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.
Integrate Power BI with various data sources including Snowflake SQL Server Excel and cloud platforms.
Write complex DAX queries and perform data transformations using Power Query.
Ensure data accuracy consistency and security across BI solutions.
Provide support and training to end-users on Power BI tools and functionalities.
Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8 years of experience in Power BI development.
Strong proficiency in DAX Power Query and data modeling.
Experience in connecting Power BI to Snowflake and other cloud-based data warehouses.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Familiarity with SQL and scripting languages.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Power BI certification.
Experience with Azure Data Services or AWS.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
