Role :: Network Security (Palo Alto Role)
Location :: Plano TX / Jersey City NJ / NYC / Dover DE / Columbus OH
Duration :: Contract (W2 Only)
Job Description:
Network Security Expertise:
Understand the concept of Network Security and OSI 7 layers.
Implement security measures to protect network integrity and data confidentiality.
Palo Alto Technologies:
Familiar with Panorama and SCM interfaces for centralized management and configuration.
Configure and manage Palo Alto NextGen features such as SWG SSL decryption WildFire and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
Traffic Analysis and Troubleshooting:
Able to troubleshoot traffic issues using traffic logs and identify potential security threats.
Perform regular audits and assessments to ensure optimal firewall performance.
Routing and Configuration:
Understand dynamic/static routing and how it works in Palo Alto firewalls.
Configure address objects and groups to streamline network management.
Certification and Continuous Learning:
PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) is preferred.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and Palo Alto technologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency:
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience with network security protocols and best practices.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential security vulnerabilities.
Communication and Collaboration:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and stakeholders to achieve security objectives.
Project Management:
Experience in planning and executing firewall deployment projects.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
