Job Description

Burkwood is seeking an individual for anOvernights Full-Time BHA. Our direct care workers responsible for the following:
** $1/hour shift differential for overnight shifts and weekends.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- BHA direct care workers help clients adhere to the facilitys group and activity schedule.
- Drive clients in the facility van to local A.A. meetings.
- Assist clients toward completion of required educational materials including worksheets videos and audio files.
- BHA direct care workers must work effectively in teams and demonstrate respect inclusion empathy support kindness professionalism and a willingness to learn recovery concepts and practices.
- Burkwood Treatment Center utilizes a number of research-based interventions and must be familiar with or become familiar with Twelve Step Facilitation (TSF).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Within 90 days of hire receive CBRF Medication Management training to assist clients with medications. Training is provided.
- A working knowledge of various aspects of substance use and mental health. (Willing to learn)
- Must work flexible hours (to include weekends and holidays)
