As our Procurement Manager youll lead a high-performing purchasing team manage key supplier relationships and ensure that our supply chain runs like clockwork. Youll be at the heart of our growth driving efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness across all procurement operations.


What You Will Do:

  • Leading and managing the purchasing team to ensure effective procurement operations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality cost effectiveness and timely delivery
  • Review of Supplier Contracts
  • Risk management
  • Negotiating delivery schedules and ensuring timely fulfillment of purchase orders
  • Processing return-to-vendor items when necessary
  • Supporting new product introductions by leading sourcing and supplier onboarding efforts
  • Problem Solving; interfaces with other departments to resolve problems with timely delivery and disposition
  • Works closely with internal management to execute all site initiatives
  • Participates in the EH&S & ISO culture
  • Collaborate with Engineering Production and Quality teams on NPI projects and ongoing builds.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct audits or corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Do You Have:

  • Associates degree in business administration Supply Chain Management Logistics Operations Management or a related field or minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in Supply Chain or purchasing.
  • Must have strong communication organizational & customer service skills
  • Should have good computer knowledge of MS Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity & be able perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis
  • Past job performance must reflect dependability maturity initiative personal demeanor & the ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to successfully lead implement and complete projects
  • Strong background in electronics contract manufacturing
  • Familiarity with global suppliers especially in Asia (e.g. Thailand)
  • Understanding of BOMs (Bill of Materials) and part specifications.

Youll Shine Even Brighter If You Have:

  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite SAP Oracle)
  • Six Sigma or Continues Improvement experience
  • Supply Chain Certificates
  • Contract management

Work Environment

  • This role operates in a hybrid or office-based environment depending on company needs.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office setting with standard working hours; however occasional after-hours support may be required.
  • The position requires frequent interaction with employees across different departments requiring strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • The role may involve sitting for extended periods working on a computer.
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.
