This Position reports to:
HSE ManagerIn this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving HealthSafety and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus onHSE. Each day you will support the business by applying in-depthHSE knowledgeand offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effectiverisk managementthroughHSEexcellence along the ABB value chain.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the Motion Service division located in Vittuone (Milan).
Key Responsabilities:
Develop implement and maintain HSE policies procedures and programs in compliance with local national and international regulations as well as ABB internal standards and guidelines.
Conduct regular risk assessments safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Investigate incidents accidents and near misses and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.
Deliver HSE training and awareness programs.
Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and KPIs.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all HSE-related activities with particular focus on field service operations.
Support emergency response planning and drills.
Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE practices.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar HSE role.
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Engineering Environmental Science Occupational Health and Safety) is preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial companies is considered a strong asset.
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards (e.g. ISO 45001 ISO 14001).
Good command of the English language both written and spoken.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
