Job Description
Transform the future of logistics by driving continuous improvement across Amazon Airs operations! As a key change agent youll lead strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency streamline processes and directly impact how millions of customers receive their packages. Your expertise will help scale Amazon Airs network while creating sustainable innovative solutions that set new industry standards.
Key job responsibilities
- Deploy benchmarking processes and establish sustainable mechanisms for operational training and improvement
- Utilize PDCA and Kaizen methodologies to drive process enhancements and cost reduction strategies
- Develop and sustain continuous improvement training programs for managers
- Lead cross-functional projects that support Amazon Airs operational scalability
- Create and implement robust systems that enhance operational readiness and performance
A day in the life
Your day will be dynamic and impactful focusing on driving operational excellence across Amazon Air sites. Youll collaborate closely with site leadership implementing process improvement methodologies facilitating training sessions and developing robust systems that enhance operational performance. Expect to travel between key sites conducting deep-dive analyses supporting continuous improvement initiatives and translating complex operational challenges into actionable strategies.
Eligibility requirement
- Individuals hired into this position will have unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA). For this reason eligibility for this role will be limited to individuals who pass a security screening as required by the FAA DHS and TSA (as applicable).
- Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges if applicable.
- Amazon does not sponsor for immigration including for H-1B TN and other non-immigrant visas for this role.
Drug Test Requirement
This position requires an employees full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute their job duties to ensure the safety and security of Amazon Air personnel third-party contractors Airport personnel cargo and equipment. This position is therefore designated as a safety sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and where permitted post-hire drug testing.

- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
