Senior Controls Engineer
The Senior Controls Engineer will lead automation and electrical control system projects across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role involves designing programming and integrating complex control systems while ensuring compliance with safety quality and productivity standards. You will serve as a technical expert mentor junior engineers and manage vendor and contractor activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead design programming and commissioning of PLC HMI and VFD systems (Rockwell Siemens Beijer).
- Maintain and improve LabVIEW applications for test and production equipment.
- Apply NEC and NFPA standards to plan and document industrial electrical installations.
- Provide cost estimates project schedules and technical evaluations for capital projects.
- Oversee contractors to ensure adherence to safety environmental and quality requirements.
- Integrate equipment into plant data collection systems and maintain network documentation.
- Support network backups device patching and control system asset tracking.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of industrial controls engineering experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and multiple automation platforms.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 70E 79 and applicable industrial standards.
- Experience integrating automation equipment with data collection and networking systems.

Pay Range: $100000-$150000 Commensurate with experience
