Patent Transactions Associate Attorney $160k-$180k Charlotte NC (Hybrid)

A leading law firm is seeking a mid-level Intellectual Property (Patent) Transactions Associate with at least three years of experience to join its growing IP practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated patent transactions collaborating with a team of seasoned attorneys while engaging in high-profile and complex matters.

What Youll Do

Advise clients on patent acquisitions licensing and related transactional matters.
Draft review and negotiate patent and technology-related agreements.
Collaborate with attorneys and clients on strategic IP deals across diverse industries.
Support clients in building protecting and leveraging their intellectual property portfolios.

What Youll Bring

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with a focus on patent acquisitions and licensing.
Solid foundation in patent law with demonstrated transactional experience.
Strong drafting negotiation and communication skills.
Admission (or eligibility) to the North Carolina Bar preferred.
Admission to practice in front of the USPTO.
