Answer member enquiries promptly and accurately whether received in person by phone or mail. Promptly redirect any unusual enquiries to the appropriate senior staff member
Track statistical data for service metrics and reports information to the Supervisor Customer Service
Relieve reception and assist the office with special mail outs when required.
Provide member guidance in completing various forms.
Maintain security and confidentiality of client records.
Process member application cards/ information changes for benefit entitlement received at front counter and or mail.
Verify member and or dependent eligibility information for optical appointments
Provides superior customer service by handling all questions and concerns with speed and professionalism
Process applications cards scan and file away
Document and mail all valid Prescription Drug Cards
Handle Drug card replacement forms.
Process paper submission prescription drug claims
Process Authorization Forms
Handle all email inquiries for application cards or drug card issues.
Maintains security and confidentiality of member records
Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Management
High school diploma or equivalent
6 months or more experience in a call center environment
Previous customer service experience related to group benefits
Previous experience in office administration and clerical processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with exceptional organization skills.
Intermediate computer skills in the use of related computer applications including Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook and AS400 CRM TELUS ADJUDICARE
Compliant with government regulation pertaining to the Privacy Act (PPEIDA);
Participation in Company sponsored insurance programs such as FLMI ACS ALHC C.E.B.S. and successful completion of these courses of study during tenure in the position;
Cooperative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Exceptional customer service skills
Previous experience in the group benefits industry
Fluency in Spanish Portuguese and/or Italian languages is considered an asset
