We are currently seeking a Clinical Systems Specialist to be part of the wider BlueCare Care and Governance team. Reporting tothe Manager of Quality Analytics and Improvement you will be accountable for optimising clinical systems functionality and associated reporting to drive continuous improvement across Uniting Care Aged Care and Community Services.
Your part in the team
The Clinical Systems Specialist role works closely with the wider Care Governance team to provide clinical systems administration support for current new and emerging systems (including but not limited to Medisphere RMS Peoplepoint Alayacare); provides subject matter expertise to operational users across the residential services of BlueCare; supports data extraction and presentation for organisational wide governance reporting. The focus of the role will include but not limited to:
Work closely with Digital and Technology/ and external vendors to resolve complex system issues. Provide expertise and advice to the Enterprise Systems Team (EST) to assist in the resolution of issues raised via the Service Desk.
Develop and provide system administrative and problem-solving support for operational users of electronic clinical systems eg Electronic Medication Management (Medisphere) RMS Peoplepoint Alayacare and emerging systems.
Develop and maintain reporting services and undertake data extraction and analysis.
Ensure the integrity and accurate preparation of data to provide operational reporting on key performance indicators.
What makes a difference for us
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Current APHRA registered nurse
Proven operational experience in using electronic clinical systems (MPS Medisphere RMS Peoplepoint Alayacare 4D radar).
Proven track record in development of system administrative capabilities in a health care related setting.
Capability to act as system subject matter expert and support digital and technology teams in problem solving operational issues.
Experience in development and management of care governance reporting.
Proven use of tools that enable data extraction display and analysis. For example: Excel Power BI.
Customer Service Focus demonstrating excellent time people and relationship management skills with strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to positively engage stakeholders including being responsive to their needs in times of change.
Broad operational knowledge of aged care accreditation standards reporting and funding requirements is highly desirable.
