Job Description
Alden Elementary School is seeking candidates to apply for the position of Elementary Music Teacher (LTS) starting on or about September 20 - December 23 2025. The position provides instruction for general music for grades 3-5 the 5th Grade strings programs and co-teaching the Alden Chorus.
Requirements:
-DESE Licensure in Music: Vocal/Instrumental/General (All Grades)
- Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Classroom management skills that support students social-emotional learning
- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
- Citizenship residency or work visa required
Preferred Qualifications:
- SEI Endorsement
