Job Description
Qualifications/Experience:
Requires Bachelors degree in Education.
Licensure from the State of Minnesota in Parent Education.
Successful background check required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to communicate effectively with parents and families. Knowledge of early childhood of Parent Education Core Curriculum Framework and Early Childhood Indicators of Progress.
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion respect responsibility self discipline and honesty.
Specific Tasks:
Responsible for planning instructing and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for families with children ages birth to 5 years. Participate in outreach activities around the community collaborate with other entities to provide programming to families and assist with Early Childhood duties as assigned by the Coordinator. Hours Per Day:
M-F approximately 21-25 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend hours.
