The Opportunity
As the Projects and Partnerships Manager you will lead the development and delivery of impactful partner-funded research initiatives that support Monashs energy transition goals. The role advances the Universitys strategic interests within the RACE for 2030 CRC and works closely with senior stakeholders across key initiatives including the Grid Innovation Hub and Woodside Monash Energy Partnership to build strong partnerships and support project development aligned with strategic business outcomes.
As the Projects and Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for identifying and securing new funding opportunities initiating and maintaining strategic partnerships and managing the end-to-end delivery of complex research projects. This includes overseeing project planning stakeholder engagement risk and budget management contract coordination and preparation of strategic reports while providing high-level advice to senior stakeholders to support the Monash Energy Institutes external relations and institutional priorities.
As the successful candidate you will have in-depth knowledge and experience of the Australian energy sector and a proven track record in securing external research funding. You will harness your energy sector networks to explore new research and funding will demonstrate strong expertise in managing complex projects strategic planning and leading change within large organisations. Experience in guiding high-performing teams and working across the research and higher education sectors will be essential to excel in this role.
