Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to generate new commercial insurance business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients identifying their unique insurance needs and crafting customized solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for commercial accounts and present coverage recommendations.
- Actively network to identify leads and develop referral sources within the community.
- Collaborate with underwriting and support teams to ensure seamless policy placements and renewals.
- Stay informed about industry trends market dynamics and product offerings to better educate clients.
- Manage a portfolio of commercial clients ensuring high levels of retention through proactive service and communication.
- Maintain compliance with relevant insurance regulations ethical practices and internal company policies.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals and performance metrics.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Proven track record of success in commercial lines insurance sales or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while also contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using insurance software CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze risk thoroughly and present creative insurance solutions to meet client needs.
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $50K-$65K (based on experience) commissions.
