Job Description
Locum to Perm - Physician - Emergency Medicine
Join a dedicated team at a well-established Hospital and Level II Trauma Center located in the heart of Devils Lake North Dakota. This facility is committed to providing high-quality emergency medical care and they are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to cover locum shifts for approximately six months with the potential to transition into a permanent position. With an average patient volume of 1.4 per hour and a supportive environment this is an excellent opportunity to impact community health in a beautiful part of the country.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages including intubation chest tubes central lines and procedural sedation.
- Manage OB/GYN procedures and deliveries.
- Conduct adult and pediatric resuscitation efforts.
- Collaborate with a team of physicians and hospital staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation.
- Work various shifts ranging from 1012 hours.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM required).
- Active North Dakota medical license.
- Must possess PALS ATLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active North Dakota License (Required).
- DEA Registration (Required).
- PALS (Required).
- ATLS (Required).
- ACLS (Required).
