Department/Unit Summary
The Educational Manager is responsible for developing implementing and overseeing educational and training programs for hospital staff including clinical and non-clinical personnel. This role ensures compliance with accreditation standards and promotes continuous learning to enhance patient care and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and manage staff onboarding continuing education and professional development programs
Coordinate with department heads to identify training needs
Ensure training programs meet healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives
Manage training schedules materials and budgets
Supervise education staff and external training vendors
Support residency internship and student placement programs

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- One year of experience preferred
- ASLS certification preferred
