Job Description
PRINCIPAL FOCUS:
As the Photo and Video Sales Consultant you will be part of a dynamic team of experienced like-minded professionals in a leading-edge retail environment. You will be working with the latest equipment; providing advice to our clients while offering the best customer service experience and establishing relationships with industry professionals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provision ofbest in classservice to customers
- Meet sales targets through sales and sales related activities
- Follow up with quotes orders and posted invoices
- Keep sales environment stocked clean and tidy
- Focus on variousVisteksales programs to enhance sales
- Keep personally up to date on products throughVisnet seminars web magazines discussions with colleagues membership in associations etc.
- Actively seeks methods to increase his/her client database.
- Createoptimalopportunities through:
- Follow up on quotes
- Follow up calls topreviouscustomers
- Keep environment organized clean and tidy
- Complete other duties projects and tasks as assigned.
- Providesupport toother departments when needed
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 or more years working in a professional photographic environment
- Knowledge in Photo and Video Equipment is a requirement
- Comfortable working knowledge of top brands
- Familiarity with HubSpot and computer literacy is an asset
- Involvement with the photo video or film community isan asset
- Graduate of a recognized post-secondary photographic video or related program or relevant experience
- Previoussales background is anasset
- Competent in Microsoft suite and Mac operating systems
- Comfortable using computerized inventory or other ERP system
- Previous retail experience considered a definite asset
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to stay on top of product knowledge toprovidebest of classservice
- Ability to take over key accounts andprovidetechnical advice and solutionsselling
- Ability to develop andmaintainexcellent clientrelationships
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to remain organized with a strong attention todetail
- Strong customer service skills
- Formal photo or video related education or relevant experience
