The NextGen Admin Associate plays a vital role in supporting the overall mission of Sandals Church by ensuring the smooth operation of our children and youth programs under the direction of the NextGen Lead. This position is responsible for administrative tasks communication and logistical support that enhance the ministrys effectiveness and outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Manage scheduling correspondence and daily operations for the kids and youth ministries.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance volunteer involvement and program materials.
- Maintain Process Queues and Groups within the database.
- Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for parents and volunteers regarding NextGen ministry activities.
- Prepare and send out parent emails.
- Manage NextGen Team Communications.
- Team Training and Gatherings:
- Assist in planning and executing events team training and team gatherings.
- Help organize logistics such as training and gathering locations supplies and details.
- Volunteer Management:
- Support the recruitment training and scheduling of volunteers.
- Maintain a database of volunteers and facilitate regular communication.
- Financial Management:
- Assist with budgeting and tracking expenses for ministry programs.
- Process credit card transactions and receipts and manage reimbursements
- Program Development:
- Maintain Curriculum prep and organization to ensure volunteers have what is needed.
- Inventory & Manage supplies to ensure volunteers have what is needed.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- A high school diploma is required; an associates degree or higher is preferred.
- Experience:
- Previous administrative experience preferably in a church or nonprofit setting.
- Familiarity with kids and youth ministry is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets and experience in database management.
- Proficient in Social Media Management and Content Creation.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Working Conditions:
- Part-time position - 20 hours a week partially flexible hours with set core times required.
- Availability on weekdays and weekends.

COMPENSATION:
Pay Range: $18-$20 per hour
