Job Summary
Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital. Today the hospital is a 1101-bed major academic and referral center withLevel I adult traumaandLevel II pediatric traumadesignations. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine with more than 1400 Beaumont doctors on faculty.
Scope of work
Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of imaging. Demonstrates good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Applies principles of radiation protection when applicable. Follows Corewell philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
Qualifications
Education / Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Currently in accredited Radiologic Technology Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or Ultrasonography program at 2nd year student level. Must have 50% of clinical hours completed.
Work Experience:
Training can be gained while at student level.
Certification Licensure Registration:
Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers Course from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross.
