Job Summary

Job Title: Permanent Nurse Practitioner - Oncology

The Genesis Cancer Care Institute accredited by the NAPBC NQMBC CoC and ACOS is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team in the Quad Cities area of Iowa. This area is the largest metropolitan region on the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Louis. You will provide vital services at our Davenport location with potential coverage at our Clinton and Silvis Clinics.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive patient care focused on oncology in a team-based collaborative environment.
Participate in the delivery of innovative treatments and support services including radiation oncology and clinical trials.
Support patients and their families with education on cancer care and treatment options.
Collaborate with a team of physicians and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Travel between Davenport Clinton and Silvis locations as required.
Engage in leadership and wellness initiatives to promote a balanced work-life environment.

Qualifications:

Masters and/or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Minimum 3-5 years of oncology NP work experience (not including RN experience).
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
Experience working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

License and Certification Requirements:

IA and IL Nurse Practitioner licenses (or willingness to obtain).
DEA Verbal Confirmation (or able to obtain prior to start).
CSR/CDS (or able to obtain prior to start).
Clean malpractice history preferred.
