Job Summary
St. Francis Hospital (SFH) and Penrose Main Hospital (PEN) are looking for APP support for their Gynecological Oncologist. APPs will be onsite 7a-5p and will have a 1 hour unpaid lunch. Additionally the APP will take night call from the hospital and ED. They will consult on surgery help with treatment decisions and perform pelvic exams.
7a-5p with one hour unpaid lunch night call - 5p-7a (2.5 gratis)
Facility Location: 6001 E. Woodmen Road. Colorado Springs CO 80923
Setting: Inpatient Emergency Room Clinic Trauma Level III
Days per month: 10
Required Procedures: Pelvic exams pap smears simple biopsies Surgical Assist Consults in E.D & other duties as assigned.
EMR: EPIC
Support Staff: RN LPN/LVN
Reason for Coverage: Provider shortage recruitment challenges
Dealbreakers: locums must be willing to round on patients perform pelvic exams take calls triage problem visits and manage in basket.
