Description
- Cleaning parts: Using degreasing equipment and solvents to clean metal parts and remove foreign materials
- Inspecting parts: Checking for defects like missing welds
- Loading and Unloading parts: Loading parts onto racks and unloading them after cleaning
- Maintaining equipment: Keeping the washer system pressurized and maintaining the cleaning systems hoses and spray guns
- Preventing contamination: Being careful to avoid contamination especially in hard to reach areas
- Maintaining a clean work environment: Keeping the workstation and glove washer clean and mopping the floor
- Coordinating with other departments: Working with the parts department and other departments to coordinate the flow of components
- Label stock items with labeling equipment such as identification tags
- Operate forklift for moving stock material will be an advantage and could be required

Qualifications
- Work ethic - A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time sensitive deadlines
- Technical - Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required especially Excel Word and Outlook. Experience with an ERP system a plus
- Teamwork - Strong interpersonal skills required to function within the Anchor team
- Ability to work in high paced environment
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Position may require bending kneeling and stooping
- Exposure to shop elements such as noise dust odors and chemicals
- May be required to operate a forklift
- Punctual and dependable attendance record
