Job Description
Join Our Anesthesia Team in Muskegon Michigan!
We are seeking a dedicated Physician to join our Anesthesia Team at a state-of-the-art hospital designated as a Level 2 trauma center located in the vibrant city of Muskegon Michigan. Here you will be part of a professional confident and friendly team practicing within a care team model while having opportunities to personally perform anesthesia. Enjoy working in a facility featuring 20 operating rooms 5 heart and vascular rooms 6 endoscopy rooms and 2 c-section suites providing a wide range of cases including both general and complex procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide medical direction over CRNAs while having the opportunity to perform personal anesthesia.
- Manage a diverse range of cases such as orthopedic gynecology ENT vascular neurosurgery and cardiothoracic.
- Contribute to improving OR efficiency and patient care quality through our Surgical Optimization Service.
- Utilize advanced regional techniques and become proficient in performing various peripheral nerve blocks.
- Share and rotate call responsibilities creating flexible schedules for work-life balance.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Participation in the full obstetrical practice with ample opportunities for epidurals.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (must become Board Certified within 2 years).
- Michigan Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- ACLS and BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Commitment to full-time or part-time employment.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
- MI Medical License.
- DEA License.
- ACLS and BLS Certifications.
