1.) History of Narrative Film TV and Emerging Media

The TA will need to take attendance at the beginning of each class and hold study sessions prior to quizzes (approximately twice per month) and prior to the course final.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before and received an A.

  • Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour
  • Hours: 7 hours per week
  • Duration: Fall semester
  • Hiring Manager: Professor Jack Bryant

2.) Screenwriting

The TA will need to provide tutoring for students in the class and assist students who are struggling with writing their screenplays.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before and received an A.

  • Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour
  • Hours: Up to two hours per week
  • Duration: Fall semester
  • Hiring Manager: Professor Jack Bryant

3.) Story from Cave Paintings to Emerging Media

The TA will need to take attendance at the start of each class and should help keep track of class participation contribute to class discussions act as a sounding board for students creative projects encourage and reassure studentsremind students about due dates etc.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before. Preference will be given to students who received an A.

Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour

  • Hours: 3.5 hours per week
  • Duration: Fall semester

A successful TA will be able to predict my next need respond quickly to students falling behind in software demos and have AV set up operating quickly as needed. Student will need to pick up and drop off equipment from the checkout center before and after class.
