Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Equities Trade Support Analyst to join our team supporting Pan-European equities trading activities. The successful candidate will act as a vital link between the front office trading desk the Execution Architecture team and the back-office operations ensuring seamless trade execution across multiple European markets. This role requires strong analytical skills a good understanding of the European equities landscape and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as front line support to support daily trading activity for Pan-European equities.
  • Monitor and resolve FIX order breaks and discrepancies between front-office and middle/back-office systems.
  • Liaise with traders brokers exchanges and liquidity counterparties to resolve trade-related queries and issues promptly.
  • Support the trade lifecycle including pre-trade validations non-standard order flows trade capture and investigate routing exceptions.
  • Liaise with third-party technology providers to investigate and resolve queries.
  • Responsibility for end of day processes and controls.
  • Collaborate closely with operations risk compliance and technology teams to improve trade processing efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our internal Execution architecture European market regulations regulatory reporting requirements trading practices and settlement cycles.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to automation and system enhancements.
  • Support on US trading where there is overlap
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls audit requirements and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business Economics or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience (1-3 years) in equities trade support or operations ideally within Pan-European markets.
  • Strong understanding of the equities trade lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with European trading venues market structures and trading systems (e.g. Fidessa QUOD UL etc).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and trade support systems.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II is a plus.
