Job Description
Role: Cutting Technician / Saw Operator (1st Shift)
Department: Shop Reports to: Machining Supervisor
Produce and prep material per travelers blueprints and specs; operate saws and related equipment; meet schedule/quality targets while maintaining data accuracy in the MRP system.
B) What Youll Do-
Set up & run saws (and related shop tools) to cut stock per print/spec; perform in-process checks and document results.

Use travelers/blueprints/GD&T to verify requirements; route non-conforming material per procedure.

Load stock stage jobs and hit time/schedule standards; correctly process work via paperwork/MRP.

Maintain safe operations; complete production/quality logs; support shift hand-offs with clear notes.

HS diploma/GED; 1 4 yrs machine/saw operating (manufacturing).

Mechanically inclined; familiar with grinders/inspection equipment; basic computer skills.

Able to stand entire shift lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a fast-paced occasionally noisy environment.

Mon Fri 1st shift 4:00 AM 12:30 PM; OT as needed; schedule may flex for training.

Shop environment; varying temperatures; PPE required.
