We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Operator to join our chemical plant operations team. This role is responsible for handling loading and unloading a variety of chemical products including Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) drums bulk trucks and rail cars. The position requires strict adherence to safety protocols accurate documentation and effective teamwork in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload IBCs drums bulk trucks and rail cars following established safety and operational procedures.
Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment as required.
Inspect containers hoses and fittings for leaks or damage prior to loading or unloading.
Follow chemical handling procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Accurately complete shipping receiving and inventory documentation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
Support other warehouse and plant operations as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse chemical plant or industrial environment preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights.
Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification preferred).
Strong attention to detail safety awareness and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and around chemical products.
Work Environment
Industrial/warehouse setting within a chemical manufacturing facility.
Exposure to temperature changes chemical odors and varying noise levels.
Use of PPE required including hard hats safety glasses gloves and respiratory protection as needed.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $43600.00 and $72700.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills experience and other factors permitted by law.Employment Type
