What Youll Do
As a GM Transmission Technician youll diagnose repair and maintain vehicles. Youll work to identify any automotive issues to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. You will test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service your role as a GM Transmission Technician youll collaborate with the Service Advisor to provide the most accurate information for the customer.
GM Transmission Technician Qualifications
- Specific GM transmission technician experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- ASE certification required with A-level qualifications
- Dexterity requiring a steady hand excellent hand-eye coordination
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Teamwork mentality and ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Technician: $25- $43 per hour
Compensation will be based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from displayed amounts
