Were currently seeking compassionate and reliable casual Disability Support Workers to join our Toowoomba team working with female participants in female-only SIL homes. With a variety of shifts availableincluding mornings afternoons evenings and weekendsthis role offers flexibility and the opportunity to build meaningful long-term relationships with participants.
About the role
Youll support participants with:
- Daily living tasks and routines
- Personal care and hygiene
- Medication assistance
- Emotional wellbeing and independence
- Community participation and social engagement
- Maintaining a safe supportive home environment
What Youll Need
- Minimum 2 years experience in disability or youth support
- NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card)
- WWCC (Blue Card)
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Drivers licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Highly Regarded
- Cert IV in mental health or equivalent
- Experience with complex behaviours or mental health
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Tech-savvy and organised
