The laboratory of Dr. Jianping Li () at Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center (SKCCC) at Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our team. Dr. Lis lab focuses on the role of chromatin regulators and immune interaction in blood cancers especially in the initiation of acute lymphoblastic leukemia and lymphoma relapse and chemotherapy resistance. We explore mutant chromatin regulators-driven phenotype and molecular mechanisms using cell lines conditional mouse models patient-derived xenografts (PDXs) and cutting-edge technologies such as CUT&RUN ChIP-Seq single-cell RNA-Seq ATAC-Seq Hi-C proteomics drug screening flow cytometry and sorting and CRISPR editing and screening (Nature Communications 2017 Cancer Discovery 2022 and Nature Chemical Biology 2024).Job Description
Eligibility Requirements: We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic postdoctoral fellows with a recent PhD or MD or PhD/MD in biochemistry and molecular biology bioinformatics computational biology hematology immunology cancer biology or related fields. The candidate should have a strong interest in one of the following basic and translational research areas related to chromatin regulation cancer epigenetics stem cell biology immune interaction and developing targeted therapy. The experience of multi-omics sequencing analysis CRISPR editing and screening flow cytometry and sorting will be preferred.
