The approved budget for this position allows for a salary of up to $52000.

Role Summary

Plans and coordinates day-to-day fiscal administrative and operational activities of a defined program or set of funded activities. Programs are usually focused to a single purpose may be scientific research educational or service oriented and may exist as a subset of an integrated funded program activity. Duties typically include assisting with grant planning and administration fiscal budgetary and/or other associated transactions program implementation and administration internal and external operational/administrative liaison program marketing and reporting.

1. Develops coordinates promotes and evaluates assigned programs and projects.
2. Co-advises student organizations and serves as a liaison between student organizations and administration.
3. Coordinates assessment and evaluation of programs and services
4. Assists in the development implementation and assessment of departmental goals objectives policies and procedures.

Examples of Work Performed

  • Assists the Center for Inclusion and Cross Cultural Engagement (CICCE) in the development and coordination of CICCE programs and services that aid in supporting student success/student retention.
  • Coordinates cross-cultural engagement opportunities among the campus community and organizes the All-In All Year Calendar.
  • Supports and directly engages with CICCE student employees to ensure their success.
  • Works with a wide variety of campus constituents to assess programmatic needs that support the CICCE mission.
  • Develops partnerships with departments and organizations campus-wide to support student programming and leadership development.
  • Provides advisory support and programming resources to student organizations and leadership teams.
  • Coordinates the development of newsletters brochures social media advertisements handbooks and other informational materials.
  • Design materials to promote and encourage student participation and involvement in programming.
  • Creates assessment tools for the evaluation of programs and services assesses programs and utilizes information to enhance or develop new initiatives.
  • Assists in overseeing and supporting the CICCE Student Advisory Council.
  • Represents the CICCE and the university on various committees boards and associations.

Essential Functions

These essential functions include but are not limited to the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.

1. Provides specialized support in the development implementation and marketing of program function.
2. Serves as a central point of contact between students faculty staff other departments and/or external constituencies on day-to-day programmatic operational and administrative matters; assists with seminars meetings special projects and/or general problem resolution.
3. Coordinates activities of support staff consultants faculty and/or volunteers engaged in implementation and administration of program objectives.
4. Monitors and administers program/project revenues and expenses; may develop or participate in the development of funding proposals for the program.
5. Writes edits and coordinates development of course catalogs promotional materials educational materials training manuals newsletters and/or brochures as appropriate to the program.
6. Maintains program/project records researches information and gathers and computes various data; prepares special and/or one-time reports summaries or replies to inquiries selecting relevant data from a variety of sources.

Education:Bachelors Degree

Experience:(3) Three Years Experience
