Job Title: Controller Multi-Site
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to oversee all financial operations for Tenn-Tex Plastics and Pan American Screw. This role is responsible for implementing sound accounting policies ensuring compliance with all regulations and driving financial strategies that support the companys growth across multiple sites.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing financial operations in a multi-site environment with the leadership skills to guide teams at different locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop document and maintain accounting policies and procedures across all company locations.
- Oversee accounts payable accounts receivable and cash management for multiple sites; ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Lead the preparation review and monitoring of consolidated quarterly and annual budgets.
- Provide in-depth analysis of costs profitability and financial performance across business units.
- Build and maintain risk assessment models to guide financial and operational decision-making.
- Partner with site leadership teams to support operational improvements and align financial practices.
- Generate consolidated financial statements management reports and ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership.
- Oversee internal audits and serve as primary liaison for external audits at multiple locations.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards tax requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Mentor and develop finance/accounting staff fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Support long-term strategic planning including potential acquisitions expansions and integration efforts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required; Masters degree preferred.
- Certification: CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a senior accounting role with at least 3 years in a multi-site management capacity.
- Strong understanding of GAAP tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated success in cash management forecasting risk assessment and budget oversight.
- Hands-on experience with general ledger AP/AR and financial reporting systems.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; ERP experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring teams across multiple locations.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic growing environment and take on expanded financial leadership responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times (e.g. files binders or office equipment).
- Ability to travel between company locations and attend meetings as required
