We are currently seeking an experienced resourceful and responsive Assistant Room Service Managerto join our team.

The on target earning potential for this role is 40180 / per annum - comprising a base salary of 31880 plus a qualified estimate of 8300 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks benefits and rewards.

Heres a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

  • Youll take pride in leading our In Room Dining team from the front; overseeing the coordination and service delivery from the kitchen to our 233 guest rooms and across the estate bringing great ideas skill and flare to our ever growing amenities catalogue
  • Working closely with our In Room Dining Manager youll manage the day-to-day operation of our Room service Minibar & Picnic operations alongside payroll budget and stock management and weekly schedules
  • Building a fantastic knowledge of our guests anticipating and fulfilling their expectations; always warm thoughtful professional and well groomed youll play your part in ensuring luxury service is our signature
  • Engaging motivating and inspiring a strong and passionate team youll ensure they each consistently deliver exceptional service and are equally spell-bound by the delights they create; youll be nurturing and developing talent ensuring that your passion and expertise are lived through others
  • Developing strong relations with our Culinary team working together to demonstrate that shared passion clear communication and living our values is what truly galvanises the team and drives excellence
  • Youll be instilling a culture of continuous development and innovation identifying new ways to surprise and delight your guests and your people
  • Holding daily briefings with our service team ensuring everyone is crystal clear on the priorities and their responsibilities ahead of each and every service
  • Interacting with our guests always warm professional helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way

  • Ideally you have previous experience in a leadership position within a luxury hospitality environment however having a great attitude is essential
  • Energised and fuelled by a high paced operation and equally high expectations; youre resilient and skilled at managing multiple and often competing priorities
  • You possess a positive professional and courteous attitude always see a glass half-full and are consistent in your mood manner and behaviour
  • Intuitively you put yourself in the shoes of others whether that be your guests or your people; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you you recognise that to this person its likely a first
  • An early bird some days and a night owl other youll work flexibly during the week and weekends leading from the front and by example
  • You have an exceptional and discerning eye for detail and take pride in fixing the small things that make a big difference; you have high expectations of yourself and others driving high performance and ensuring others are brought on the journey with you
  • Nurturing your team through coaching and training youll bring a strong people focus and the desire to grow and develop their talent
