Job Description
Accounting / Finance:
Willmar- MN.
We are looking for a Self-Motivated individual with Strong Organizational skills to join our team as an Staff Accountant.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Hatchery Accounting tasks/inquires.
- Egg and Poult reconciling at month end.
- Record month end hatchery inventories.
- Month end general journals.
- Monthly egg payment to growers
- Transportation Dept. weekly entries
- Code various invoices in Metaviewer.
- Post weekly payroll.
- Approving company credit card transactions.
- Monthly intercompany reporting to affiliates
- Hatchery monthly presentationreporting
- Quarterly accounts recs.
- Personal property assessments and taxes.
- Year-end reconciliations and stat pack.
- Annual reporting to ownership.
The Ideal Candidate will have the following Educational and Experience Background:
. A 2-year Accounting/Finance Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
- Experience with Accounting Software and general business information systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX Software and M-Tech is a plus)
- Experience with Maintaining Spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
- Strong Time Management and Organizational Skills to prioritize and manage deadlines.
- Excellent Communication Skills and Attention to Detail
