We are currently seeking meticulous resourceful and resilient Assistant Breakfast Manager to join our Strathearn Restaurant team.

The on target earning potential for this role is 40180 / per annum - comprising a base salary of 31880 plus a qualified estimate of 8300 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks benefits and rewards.

  • Youll play a pivotal hands-on role in the seamless and consistently successful delivery of our outstanding breakfast service; through detailed team briefings and by setting the highest standards youll ensure every detail is executed flawlessly
  • Leading from the front youll create warm thoughtful and personalised dining experiences that consistently exceed our guest expectations. Your passion for hospitality will inspire and energise those around you
  • Overseeing a team of nearly 30-youll ensure each team member is fully trained motivated and empowered to deliver the finest breakfast experience possible
  • Collaborating closely with our Breakfast Manager and the Culinary team youll drive innovation within our breakfast buffet offering while continuously seeking ways to elevate the guest journey
  • Ever present on the floor youll embody a culture of continuous improvement and creativity always looking for new ways to surprise and delight both our guests and your team
  • Youll plan proactively for success meeting daily with the Breakfast Head Chef discussing guest dietary requirements and potential challengesensuring all needs are anticipated and addressed
  • With a strong focus on operational excellence youll monitor and manage our equipment and product usage in line with our procedures while coordinating timely resolutions to any maintenance issues that arise
  • Youll respond to guest concerns with confidence and composure handling a wide range of dynamic challenges and turning them into opportunities to create memorable experiences
  • In addition to attending weekly rota and business review meetings youll evaluate daily staffing and operational needs to ensure peak performance
  • By building strong collaborative relationships across departments youll help cultivate a shared vision of excellence and a culture of continuous development throughout the estate
  • Interacting with our guests always warm professional helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

  • Experience of luxury breakfast operations would be ideal however having a great attitude and strong restaurant knowledge is essential
  • You enjoy the theatre and stage but are modest understated and without ego; you care for others as much as you care for yourself and role model this consistently
  • Energised and fuelled by a high paced operation and equally high expectations; youre resilient and skilled at managing multiple and often competing priorities
  • You possess a positive professional and courteous attitude always see a glass half-full and are consistent in your mood manner and behaviour
  • Intuitively put yourself in the shoes of others whether that be your guests or your people no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you you recognise that to this person its likely a first
  • An early bird youll be expected to be available during the operational hours of 7am-4pm working flexibly during the week and weekends leading from the front and by example
  • with a discerning eye for detail you take huge pride in fixing the small things that make a big difference
  • Youll bring a strong people focus and the desire to grow and nurture your team through coaching and training
  • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; youre passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
  • You have a positive can do attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
  • A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; youre well organised and punctual
