Title: Credit Recovery Specialist

Division: School-wide

Reports to: Interim Head of School or their designee

Status: Full-Time Exempt (Academic Year) CalSTRS Retirement Eligible

Salary: $34.49 - $36.30/hr. and MWA Benefits

Summary

The Credit Recovery Specialist is responsible for providing academic support and guidance to high school students in our schools online learning programs primarily utilizing the EdOptions Academy and Apex Learning platforms. This role is a combination of teacher mentor and coach and focuses on helping students who have previously failed courses to recover credits and stay on track for graduation. The ideal candidate is highly skilled at building relationships motivating disengaged learners and using data to guide instruction.
